Help Us To Help You

Do you know about free school meals? Our meals are catered by Taylor Shaw who provide us with fresh and healthy options daily. They meet high legal standards to ensure that every meal is balanced and full of goodness.  There are currently two options for children to receive free school meals. we have outlined a little information for you to explain it. Please see below for more details on both types of free school meals and how to apply for them.

Universal Free School Meals

This is where all children in reception class, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to universal free school meals. The meals can be ordered daily at registration with the class teacher.

Income Based Free School Meals

Income based meals are open to all children regardless of age. You will need to be eligible to receive this type of free school meals. If you qualify you will receive your meals and milk free along with a free school sweatshirt for KS1 and a free sweat shirt and book bag for KS2 children. You can either apply online to schoolfoodservice@sheffield.gov.uk or telephone 0114 2734767. Alternatively feel free to speak to one of us here in the office to apply on your behalf. All we will need is you national insurance number and your date of birth.
