Applications for primary school places are managed centrally by Sheffield Local Authority, not by staff at the school.
Our pupil intake at Rivelin is 30 per class and a space will only become avaliable if a child/ren leaves the setting.

All admissions for Foundation Stage 2-Y6 are applied through and managed by Sheffield City Council School Admissions, who's details can be found below.Please contact school admissions and they will advise on the next steps to take. If you are interested in visiting our School as a prospective Parent, please call the School Office who would be happy to arrange a look around for you with our Headteacher.
Our visits generally take place during the morning and last no longer than 30 minutes.
If you're child attends Rivelin Nursery, it does not automatically secure them a place in Foundation Stage 2,
you must still apply through primary admissions.

Further information regarding Primary Admissions in Sheffield can be found via the sheffield gov website. When your application has been processed you will be contacted by school admissions and so will the school office. That's when we will give you a call to arrange an appointment for you and your child/ren to come in to school to complete all the neccessary documents.
If you are wanting to appeal for another school, a transfer paper should be collected from the school office completed before bringing it back to the school to be completed and sent ouver to admissions. Appeals can be delayed for various reasons and this can be a lengthly wait.
