The story behind the logo

We are very proud to have had the wonderful opportunity of creating a new School Logo. As you can see to the right, we believe our logo speaks about the heart of our School. We encourage our children to branch out and grow through their learning, which I think we have captured in a minimalistic yet effective and professional way. 

We had involvement from our staff, pupils and governors, whom all agreed this was the perfect picture for our School. 

At Rivelin we feel that children must be in a school uniform as this creates a feeling of inclusion and sets the children/rens expectations for the future.  We do encourage pupils to have the correct colour theme as in the picture below but the school logo is not compulsory. Uniform is expected to be worn all year round and clothing with logos ie sport/designer is not allowed. Black sensible footwear to be worn.  

We also suggest children especially in KS1 bring in a book bag and all children require a PE kit which consists of a white or sky blue T-shirt, black shorts and black plimsolls. This will be kept on their peg during the week.
