Here at Rivelin we are proud to be involved with School Gateway, the UK’s best parent engagement software, to make sure our parents are as closely involved with their children’s school lives as possible.
All school related communication, newsletters, reports, timetables, attendance figures, club bookings, dinners bookings and payments go through School Gateway – it is the central hub of information for our parents – so to stay up to date with what’s going on at school make sure you download the app for free. Just search School Gateway in your App store and download. Simple

Your login details will be automatically generated using the contact information we already have, so please make sure the details we hold for you are up to date. You can check and change these details by sending an email to enquiries@rivelin.sheffield.sch.uk

You can also login to the online version of School Gateway via this site if you do not have a smart phone, although we do recommend using the app if possible as it makes it far easier to get hold of parents when we need to.
Support for parents/carers:
First thing to do is download the school gateway app as stated above, this can be completed as soon as your child is registered at the school. Create an account, for this you will require the same email and mobile number that you have given the school for the system to sync. You will be then sent a four digit pin. The email address and the four digit pin is what you require to log into the school gateway app.
When you access the portal you wil see your child/childrens names, select a child! This will then show you 3 main options which are Payments

Clubs
To book after school club or breakfast club use the following instructions:
Clubs
Breakfast club/After school club - Make a booking- select the day you would like to book- Book
Go back to your child's page and select Payments- match the booking to the club (either breakfast/afterschool club)- add the amount to be paid- add to basket then select the basket at the top of the screen. Here is where you can check out!
Trips- Select payments, and then find the trip you would like to pay for. Select the small circle to give consent and make a comment in the bottom box. Add to basket and again select the basket at the top of the page.
