Foundation Stage 1
Welcome to our Nursery at Rivelin! We are very proud of our caring and nurturing environment and offer you and your child a wonderful, warm welcome into our school.
We are a vibrant and busy Nursery offering 15 and 30 hours funded places to children the term after they turn 3.
Our Nursery is well resourced and benefits from a large outdoor area as well as a child centred classroom. Our children are given the freedom to take their learning either inside or outside as we operate a free flow system between the indoor and outdoor environments. Our large outdoor area is open all year round whatever the weather, with a range of exciting opportunities. We are proud to have our own allotment where we grow our own vegetables, a large scale digging and sand play area where our children can become architects of the future and a biking track for those who love the thrill of speed.
Our personalised themes and Planning In The Moment Approach means that we can engage with the children and really follow their interests and passions. Our experienced team work hard to ensure the children are safe, happy and make excellent progress during their time with us.
We develop positive relationships with parents through our transition arrangements and value our parents as partners to ensure the best possible start for your child within our Nursery.
We welcome visits to Nursery and are happy to answer any questions prospective parents may have.

Foundation Stage Lunch Club
As we cater for Children all day, our Nursery also runs a 45 lunch club session from 11:30 - 12:15. Lunch club is £4 a session and is based in the Nursery room. Parents will provide their child with a pack up and be supervised by our staff.
If your child is attending provisions C,D or E, they will automatically be entitled to lunch club sessions. If your child is attending provisions A or B, you must enquire with the School Office if your child can attend, as we have limited space.
Invoices for lunch club are generated for each half term and must be paid by the deadline date. We are very strict on this, and if a debit is incurred this could affect your child's place in Nursery.
